Q1: What happens first?
A1: A member of our team will visit you before your
moving date to decide with you what your specific needs are. We will look
at any access issues and items which require specific care in order to ensure your
moving day goes smoothly.
Q2: What time will you arrive on moving day?
A2: We will discuss timings with you before your moving
day to make sure that all is convenient for you on the day.
Q3: Can I book you to do the packing and unpacking?
A3: Yes, but we charge extra for an optional full or
fragile only packing and unpacking service.
This includes all boxes and packing materials and the disassembling and
reassembling of larger furniture items and the disconnection and reconnection
of washing machines and dishwashers. For your peace of mind, all items are
covered by our insurance throughout the entire process.
Q4: Can I just buy boxes and packing materials from you?
A4: Yes, we have 2 box sizes available: 45cm x 45cm x
52cm & 35cm x 35cm x 46cm (both £4 each), bubble wrap at £30 per roll and
packing paper at £20 per roll.
Q5: Do you offer storage services if I need to store items
before or after the move?
A5: YES! We provide containerised storage in secure 40ft containers for your belongings in our secure yard and our costs depend on how much you wish to store. Costs are on average £25 per week. Customers need to provide their own insurance during storage.. Please call us to learn more about our storage arrangements.
Q6: What sizes vans do you have available?
A6: We have a range of vehicle sizes available, from
small vans for moving just a few items, all the way to larger vehicles and
trailers that can transport cars and other large items if required. We will
work with you to decide the best vehicle for your move.
Q7: How far in advance do I need to book your services?
A7: The earlier you book the better but we are always
flexible. We will always do our best to fit you in.
Q8: Do you offer insurance for any damages during the move?
A8: Yes, we offer full insurance coverage for any damages
caused to your items while in our care during your move.
Q9: What do I need to do before the movers arrive?
A9: We recommend having everything organised, furniture
disassembled, and boxes packed and labelled ahead of time unless our packing
service is being used in which case this is not applicable.
Q10: Are there any additional fees I should be aware of?
A10: If other additional charges occur, we will discuss
them as necessary.
Q11: What are your payment terms - do I pay a deposit
upfront or the full amount after?
A11: Full payment 3 working days before the day
of your move.
Q12: How much is the cost of a move?
A12: The cost of a move depends on the size and distance
travelled. To get an accurate quote on your specific requirements send us your
details and we’ll get back to you with a free, no obligation quote.
Q13: How will you move my plants?
A13: All plants are different and therefore we will
discuss their care at our pre move visit.
